Horse immune system response

Hi I am desperately looking for help with my assignment. I need to examine the response of the immune system to diseases caused by pathogenic organisms (virus and fungi) I need to explain how the horses immune system responds to equine flu and mud fever. Any help is greatly appreciated thank you.
 
Wow, that sounds really complicated!
I have no idea, but maybe your vet can help? Surely there are some vet forums out there.
Good luck, I probably wouldn't understand half of it but it sounds very interesting!
 
Really!!! Come on, this is your assignment for what course?! I take it you are at collage doing this......! As a teacher I say this, while this may be one way for you to gather information, it is as a source limited as you can not verify that the information you are receiving is correct/and or up to date. When your assignment was set, you should have been set a reading list, I would start there. I would also speak to a professional like your vet. Check again the question as that seems quite a board area it may be that you only need to look in to a couple of conditions. Research is important so you better learn quickly how to do it and also how to get your projects done on time.......this stinks of an assignment left a little late.

I have been given a large number of assignments to do over the course of the holidays and I am aiming to get distinctions in my work. I have been looking online and cannot find the right information which is why I decided to use a forum page. I was not set a reading list and to be very honest my college is not the best as most of y teachers do not even know half of the topics! I live on a yard an have tried to ask my parents as they have plenty of knowledge and even they do not know. I seem to be spending more time researching than I am actually writing. Thank you for your help I will try and get hold of a professional :)
 
there's info on the net, I've just done a search.Yup, you do more researching than writing, that's why people learn more by researching than by being given notes.

There is loads of information on the net. Just google ' horse immune system response' and take it from there.
