Ok so horse wasnt right when riding in the school, just felt abit 'short'. Vet came out and said he was sound on the hard, and agreed with me on how he was in the menage. So 10 days hacking, and if not change then visit to the vets.
No change, went to vet. In 2006 he damaged his hock vet says its connected to this, as joint will be athritic (sp?) and so decided to inject joint with steriods, and said he would expect to see an improvement in 7 - 10 days. And to build work up, so that in 3 weeks he would be back to full work.
So since the vets (9th may) he has been hacked mostly, then ridden in the school twice. I tried to lunge him on monday and he p*ssed off round the lunging pen.. *cue* me having a hissy fit!- and him thinking it was great fun.
Now then... he feels fab on the hack and still 'short' in the school, but not as noticable as before.
So what do i do now, i dont know if the incident in the lunge pen may have set back the recovery abit? Or maybe he just still isnt right and the treatment hasnt worked? Hmm im really stressing, as i have a possible show for him on the 6th June, but the enteries need to be in tomorrow!
