Horse insurance - Amtrust?

Any recent experiences with Amtrust? I know they were sold, (just after I'd renewed for my girlie!) and wonder what the claims procedure's been like since. They did give me an extremely competitive quote for the girlie last year, and seemed efficient and pleasant to deal with.
Now need to renew for her and also for my 3yo who is with another company, plus we need someone to cover the trailer.

Bl00dy brilliant. They've just paid out on my claim - paid the vet the same day they agree the claim, directly into their bank account. They're great to deal with on the phone too, v knowledgeable and always pleasant.

Brilliant. They've seen me through a huge claim and they were nothing but helpful, caring and efficient, then more recently having my mare put down. When I made the final call to them to let them know I'd had her PTS the lady on the other end was crying with me. They seem to be run by horse owners/lovers and really do care... Policy very reasonable for my new chap too...

That's good to know - am about to take the plunge with a pony and will need to run the gamut of getting insurance quotes.
