Sorry second insurance post today!!

What companies could you recommend, been with eandl for ayear luckily didnt have to claim. I took it out before i saw the bad press on them.
Anyway was going through to get a quote from KBIS and on the vets fee sections didnt cover hospitalision? Is that normal?
Anyway can you tell me the good companies to go with please:)

NFU aren't always the cheapest, but I've had t make 3 claims with them against one horse in less than 3 years (Ulcers=£5k, Leg injury=£1.5k and RER=approaching £5k - still ongoing)

Thy've never quibbled anything, even paid for some herbal and holistic therapies and supplements.

It depends on what you want your horse covered for and how much you are covering them for (full value etc). I am with South Essex Insurance brokers and am very happy, its expensive but have him covered for vets fees and insured for full value and LOU. They have paid out twice this year for me no problems!

Ok thanks, its for a sec a pony she does pc stuff with. I wont need 3rd party stuff but need vets fees, hospitalison, personal accident for my daughter and if he had to be PTS, his value is 2000, (well thats what she paid for him as hes on loan).
Ive just been doing a search and AM trust equine insurance do a pony insurance that may be worth a try. Does anybody ahve any experience with them. Ive had a few quotes for him at about the the 40 a month mark:eek: seems a bit steep for a 11.2 pony. Ive been paying 17 a month!!!!
