I thought E&L stood for equine and Leisure??

I could be wrong or they have lots of names

They have several names, all E&L but standing for different things. They have had a reputation for years for being difficult to get payments out of.

Kbis fantastic,nfu are good aswell!
E&L are soo attractive to people because they are cheap

,but when a vet wants paying up front and you have to claim the money back i can see why

I pay £32 a mnth with KBIS but i bet for the same cover with E&L it would cost me about £18

I have been with Scottish Equestrian for yonks and they are brilliant - never had a problem and great cover too.

I'm with AmTrust Equine and they are fab - gave me a much cheaper price than NFU, so I went with them.

Dont panic they paid out over £11000 for my horse very slow but we got there in the end

I wouldn't touch E&L, they wouldn't pay out when a horse insured with them kicked my car in what should have been a straightforward claim

I can recommend NFU
