Horse insurance price comparison websites

Does anyone use a price comparison website for their horse insurance renewals?

I am currently with NFU but looking for cheaper as it’s currently £87 pcm for a 5yo PRE gelding.

Any ideas?

Can't think of a price comparison site but Petplan, KBIS & SEIB usually come well recommended and you can quote online with all 3.

When I tried some of the general online comparison sites they didn't seem to work well and well known horse insurers didn't seem to come up.

I would get online quotes from Shearwater, Petplan, KBIS, SEIS and SEIB as a starting point however it's not always easy to compare due to differences in policies for excess; different levels of vet cover; how they classify activities etc so no 2 policies are exactly the same.

ETA I think I tried moneysupermarket and quotezone.

I used to be with Shearwater who are brokers so they always found me a good deal. I don’t insure anymore as horse is too old to make it worthwhile.
