Hi as the title really, I'm with petplan at the mo but it goes up every year and it's getting rather pricey!

Anyone got experience of others good/ bad much appreciated!

Pet plan all the way. But my experience u get what u pay for. They have been fantastic with a very expensive claim for for boy and paid within a matter of weeks. I'll be sticking with them because when it comes to vet bills I need to know they'll pay out and not hang about with payment. A friend who put in her claim before mine with a different company is still trying to get her money paid, this was February. Needless to say she's changing to petplan once it's all sorted.

I think most if not all insurance companies have incresed their premiums. It's a sad fact that you often don't realise how good your insurance is until you have to make a claim.

We were always with NFU and they did pay out fairly quickly when needed. Unfortunately when we came to insure our youngster we found the premiums had increased enormously and we are now with SEIB

another vote for SEIB have made many claims over the years including recently a very large vet bill and LOU, always fab and caring

Amtrust. Have had a couple of horses with them over the years and they're brilliant - pay up straight away, no arguments, are fairly reasonably priced and don't jack the premiums up. Mine does have exclusions on now but they're pretty fair given all the claims I've made! Have just insured new horse with them and also have my trailer with them.
