Horse insurance - recommendations?

Hi!

I've had my boy nearly 2 yrs and he's been insured with E & L all that time. Luckily I've never had to use it! Someone mentioned to me yesterday that E&L are awful an NEVER pay out! Apparently they're the ones to avoid?!

Can anyone recommend a good insurer?? I only use pretty basic cover.

Yes E&L are useless at paying out took my mum a year to get them to pay up so she is no longer with them. Ours are with KBIS & they are brilliant always paid out with 48 hours no questions asked, I wouldn't go with anyone else.

oh my goodness I heard the same thing about E & L just after I had taken out a policy with them!! so that was cancelled as our vets refuse to deal with them directly!! :O

I am with KBIS and my friend is with NFU both I have heard good things about when dealing with and paying out (KBIS is cheaper)
