Just had renewal insurance premium from E &L for my little coblet and was surprised that the monthly premium has gone up over 25%. No claims made at all. Is this a current trend?

Seems to be! I had my renewal from seib this week and it’s jumped from 720/yr to 1096/yr :eek::eek: I have made a claim but I’ve never had such a hike before after claiming. And this is for a horse I’ve already undervalied at 4K instead of 10k as I’m only really interested in vets fees. ill be shopping around!

I expect it will be the same everywhere. The cost of providing insurance will go up due to NI rises employers will be paying out more for their staff. The energy prices increase will also mean more office costs if they run an office.

I expect the cost of everything will go up in next 6 months but wages won't making it very hard for a lot of people.
