it comes up for renewal?
do you just renew it automatically?
its just my two neds renewal requests have come back and they looked quite high so i went on the same insurance website and put the details in and it was over ONE HUNDRED POUNDS CHEAPER PER HORSE to take out a new policy with the same details and same company!!!!!!
anyone else always shop round each time its up for renewal?
 
I just renew - only reason being that horse is 19yo this year and I've been with NFU since he was 4 - would be hard pushed now to moved and get full vets cover
 
I've had the same problem, I rang and enquired why mine had gone up so much (I haven't claimed at all) and they said because vets fees have gone up 14%. They base this on the RVC prices, well my vets are the RVC and my bills haven't gone up this much

It's all a big con and I did read in H&H they horse insurance is going to be regulated so that it is accessible to everyone.
 
Call them and explain what u did and how it was cheaper and tell then u have been offered it cheaper else where to see if they will give it to you at the price u saw it on the net for .
 
I just renew. I'm with NFU. It doesn't matter to me that I could get it cheaper because I pay for their reliale service. Like so many other things in life, with horse insurace, it seems that you get what you pay for!
 
it was the exact same details i put in.
except ive added 1k to my youngsters value!!!!!!and it still came out 100 cheaper.with the same company.
my older horses value also came out 100 cheaper for the same thing too!
