Roo is 15 years old, perfectly healthy, we don't compete, just jump/school/hack at the yard.
I insure her for just under £30 a month. Does this sound about right?
I know it depends entirely upon what you insure for. I think i have vets bills, tack, loss of use, public liability, rider insurance.

I reckon I have about the same cover, my horse is 10 yrs old and I pay about £33 per month. Think it depends on how much your horse is insured for as well.

You seem to have got an absolute bargain, if i was to insure my horse for loss of use - going no todays quotes (as prev post just got new pony) the premium would be £800 a year. Unless with E&L where i could throw £400 down the drain as they are absolutely no use. Vets fees public liability and Death has just cost me £350 and I insured him for half his purchase price but with vets fees which i think is most important
