Horse Insurance.

My mums just asked me to put up a post asking for recomendations/who to avoide when it comes to insurance.

We're with South Essex at the moment, but Herc's is due for renewal and over the years has gone up to an stupid amount tho we've never claimed.


I know this has been asked several times, but tbh I never read them. lol.

My horses are with NFU and would never change ( cheap is never always the best!! )............ I have never claimed and it only increased by £1.33 last year.

I'm with NFU and Insure My Horse who are underwritten by Towergate.

Have had claims with both this year and both have been very helpful and the cover is good. For example Towergate have approved an MRI with no quibbles and also pay for transport and stabling etc.
