hi

I am *hopefully* getting a horse this weekend following vetting on Friday. I just phoned NFU for a quote on insurance but they wouldnt give me one because the vetting hasnt been done yet. I asked if she could give me a quote based on if the vetting found nothing wrong but she wouldnt give. Is this normal for insurance companies? I just wanted an idea, not to take it out today as waiting until vetting done. (If it is relevant the horse cost £3k).

Are there any other good insurance companies? I just want an idea of how much due to not having had a horse before! I have heard to avoid E&L & that pet plan are expensive!

Thanks

Sally

Im with E&L and they dealt with my claim within 3 days of recieving it and sent my cheque within 2 weeks. So they are NOT that bad. (they used to be though).
