had a bit break while hunting ,it is truely a scary experience. So glad horse and rider ok.

I was standing on the Novices' bank when it happened, and heard the chap on the tannoy say that unfortunately that rider would have to pull up....not thinking for a minute, how would you?!!
One of our friends saw the horse jump the gate into the box park and go careering round, jumping everything in its path. She said that eventually the rider fell off when it did a sharp turn into the stable area and was stopped at the hedge surround.
All credit to the rider for a) staying on, b) surviving and c) getting back on. One of THE most terrifying experiences I should think.

Oh my god that is frightening, I would have to have been treated for shock!!

Very scary!
But what a rider - she said (according to H&H latest news) that she thought she'd be safer on board as she could shout warnings to others.
Not sure what I would've done! Probably would have fallen off in shock as the horse jumped the first car
