Horse fatally injured and rider hurt in two-dog attack

The rider was taken to hospital after two dogs attacked in east London but the horse had to be put down at the scene, police confirmed

The poor lady, injured herself and losing her horse.

At least the Police have got the 2 dogs and I hope can trace/arrest the owner.

How awful to lose your horse in those circumstances. I hope the owner of the dogs is found

This is just horrendous - owners if found should have the book thrown at them. That poor horse (and rider) must have been terrified

The dogs should have been shot, sorry if this offends but until people realise that will be the result of their dogs being out of control....

Should these be 'street' dogs then it will be a fair and safe end for them.

I do apologise if I upset people but this behaviour is just natural instinct for the dogs and they will repeat it.

I agree with you. I think once a dog has attacked someone or something I know I'd never trust it again.

Accidents happen, but any dog that causes that much damage should be automatically pts.

This is such a fear of mine. Poor horse and so devastating for the owner.

There needs to be proper punishment for OOC dogs so people will take responsibility for them.
