Horse lame

my horse has a similar injury, the vets advice was just rest for as long as it takes, maybe until next May, possible for him to come sound earlier. hes out in a small paddock.

OPs horse is only bruised, rest for over 6 months suggests yours has a much more serious injury?

Update she's had physio out and she's feeling much better sound still wee bit sore but physio has said few days she should be fine so rest of the week off and weekend then see how she is next week couldn't be happier she's nearly right and feeling good
