Hi looking for some reassurance as super stressed atm
My horse when lame Friday afternoon she was find morning short hack morning then we when hacking in afternoon came back popped her in the turnout pen then when I came to bring her in she wasn’t quite right on her back right she already has a healed old tendon injury that she sustained as a yearling she wasn’t excatly lame just looked a little off thought nothing of it other than she’s over done it Saturday she looked my stiff than lame then Sunday she’s gone very lame and can slight weight bare but always rests it and her cannon bone is hot I’ve felt around the leg and nothing is bothering her when I touch her leg so I’ve been cold hosing x2 daily then afterward stamping her foot could she have pulled something or is it more sinister than that she’s my heart horse and will be devastated if it is any thoughts would be appreciated
 
The increased lameness sounds like an abscess, the foot and then the cannon bone would become hot as it can extend up the cannon bone. There will be an increased digital pulse too.

But in any case you really l need to get the vet out. Mine has gone very lame recently and I had xrays and a nerve block Friday. We have no definitive answer other than it's in the foot and no fracture or rotation.

You need to get the vet, there's no point second guessing at this stage.
