Today, I'm very sad to say my lorry hath died! He has been a faithfull servant for many a show and although still runs amazingly, apparently he needs so much welding done its impossible and it could weaken the chasis! GUTTED!!

Anyway... this means I need a new one! I'd normally be excited at this prospect, but was saving up for numorous things... (was going to buy a project in the summer to buy and sell, and also a new car) But a lorry is a necessity seeming as we compete every weekend!

So I know Horsemart have ads... and here... anywhere else I could find a nice 3.5tonne lorry around £3500? not rear unload.. with a good long MOT, and nothing thats going to die on me in its next MOT!!!!

Suggestions please...

Nooooo... I use one to often to hire one everytime, I go out about once or twice a week in the summer sometimes more!!!! Good plug though!

Well in my wealth of experience, I hire out the horseboxes that are made by Marlborough.
I have the Cob ATM, but you could probably use the Sport if you wanted something just for you and your horse, the guy that builds the boxes is really meticulous and(touch wood) never had a problem with mine and it does alot of miles because lots of people rent it out....

And i love driving it, I have a 16.1. All the horseboxes are rear facing so the horses heart rate (reserach shows) is lower travelling that way (which is always good for them - alot less stressful) and harsh braking with be cushioned by their behind instead of their head like trailers. PM me if you need any details, or look at my website as the box i use is on there...
