Hi All,

i currently have a nissan pathfinder and ifor 511. i am travelling twice a week to a lesson and then to comps at weekend and with 2 horses, sometimes. I am looking to upgrade to a 7.5t lorry as i have a company car and my nissan costs a lot in tax and insurance (less than many of my friends' lorries!) .
I have a budget up to 20k and even with this i feel i cannot find anything suitable within budget . ideally i wanted something newer than 2005, tilt cab, aluminium floor in horse area, no tack lockers in horse area, tidy overnight living.

Im finding that it is near enough impossible to find something within budget that ticks my boxes. therefore, i am wondering if getting something newer on finance is something that people do on a regular basis .. i am one who never finances anything but i feel this may be my only option to get something decent.

Would you finance a lorry? is there something i should compromise on to get more for my money for the lorry?

Note- i am in the process of getting my C license. but i have a driver if the lorry comes before license.

Sian Larkin Dressage have just posted one on Facebook for £15k with mostly everything I think you want (floor, good payload, tilt cab etc.) however small "living" area that is more tack area I think. Does say can convert to have larger living area easily.

Or central horseboxes have one that is £7.5k but doesn't have tilt cab I don't think. There are quite a few popping up, and a few horsebox companies have them come in for part ex where people want 3.5t more than 7.5t so might be worth calling a few places and asking.
