Intersting,didn`t realise that Karl Marx hunted.The point I was making,or atleast trying to make,
is that I generally assiociate the Left with change and and Hunting with continuity and tradition.As
an outsider it seemed to me that Blair wasn`t much of a socialist but knew how to cynically keep
his more radical supporters distracted from more important issues by introducing a ban.

Yes, that would appear to be the case.

And yet hunting has always had to change and innovate. Whether it was the coming of the railways, the introduction of barbed wire, or, indeed, the Hunting Act 2004, hunting has adapted to survive.
