A Horse has gone missing after following the bloodhounds on Sunday (picture attached). It was last seen in the Colemore area with its tack on. It is 15.2 roan with very distinctive large white blaze. The meet was at Stocks Farm, Privett. If anybody sees or hears of it please can you contact the Countryside Alliance on 0207 840 9220 or hunting@countryside-alliance.org

thank you

I think we should all be alert to the possibility, that someone found her and hopes to keep her. With that in mind, please print off the attached flyer and give to everyone you know, especially farriers and vets. It doesn’t matter how far you are from Hampshire; if she has been taken she could turn up anywhere. Speed of getting this information widely spread is essential. Lily has very distinctive markings that will be impossible to hide without interference being obvious. If you are connected to any form of hunting or equestrian website, please post this message.

She has still not been found

I used to live in Privett and know my friend owns Stocks Farm where the meet was. Everyone in the area knows about it and are all looking - they just hope she has not been found and taken.

A horse could get lost for a long time in that area, especially if it went east towards Oakhanger and Longmoor. I truely doubt that it has been taken. I guess it is out there lost.

very true, also if someone found her and took her someone would have noticed her being led away or loaded by the side of the road.

This is just what everyone thinks in the area - Dont think whe would have got at far as Oakhanger, she would have had to cross the B3006 - who knows

We temporarily lost a hunter on barrossa ,sandhurst, the other day ,It covered over 5 miles a dual carriageway in the rush hour and jumped a forestry gate. All done in a few minutes.Horse safe and sound due to local police and crown estates warden. They can travel a long way in the first rush of panic. Then you just dont know where to start looking. I suppose the huntsman has considered the old trick of riding out the next day and blowing for hounds. Or hound exercising through the area.

May I assume that The CA have already emailed every Foxhound/Bloodhound/Drag Pack in the UK and NI ???

The have been informed. The missing pony is also on the Horse and Hound website, the Countryside Alliance website, and will be on the grass e-route newsletter this week.

If it's not already been done, could the police helicopter not be asked to keep an eye out if it's in the area? Their heat seeking cameras could search areas of woodland etc.

Maybe they thought it would be spotted well before it got as far as you!! ;)

Sarcasm does not really help in this situation - nor any others where horses have disappeared.
What if it had been YOUR horse which had disappeared - you would not have been so sarcastic then I think?
It could have been picked up and transported - to where??
Stolen horses travel for MILES before being aold on.

Please note that this comment was made WELL AFTER the horse was found safely. get a grip woman!!!!!
It appears that you do not have many good words to say about anyone and as you know nothing of my situation regarding missing/stolen horses I will not pay any attention to what you have to say. I have more experience than you think regarding that!

to be honest, i think when posts are sent they are sometimes mis interpreted( taken the wrong way) but having said that, if pony had been picked up it could have come as far as us, nowhere is "too far" these days!! please lets not have anymore falling out over these threads-

Are you referring to MY quote (think not), which I do not consider sarcastic in any shape or form? If so, I can tell you that some years ago I came a serious cropper on a little mare up on The Epynt Range (zillions of acres). The mare pushed off at a vast rate of knots and was found three days later, hooked up to a tree. PLEASE DO NOT TEACH GRANNY HOW TO SUCK EGGS.

Further to my last quote. I have now looked back over previous posts. You should have responded to Salimali and NOT to me. Apology required please, asap. Thank you.

Mr Woof, i was nor referring to your comments at all, but to the other post referring to the one stating that pony probably wouldn't have reached this far, so no need for CA to inform us. i then commented on certain posts being sarcastic as to be honest i have had a gut full of snide, vengeful posts thanks to that "other business," hope you get my meaning? i have no intention of falling out with anyone on here as i get pleasure in following the different postings, ( nowt else much for me o do!!) but i still have my own opinions.

Do you think that you are the only person who has fallen off and pony has run off?
I will respond to the person I want to - not who you tell me to!
The responses I sent will stand.

Yes I have to agree with you Salimali, things can get misinterpreted between those that write them and those that read them. I know that if picked up the pony could come as far as you. It was meant as a light hearted comment as the pony had been found safe and sound - good news - always makes me smile :)
I will not be looking at this thread again.
