horse names

was talking to a few friends the other day about their pets names
and was wondering how many people actually use them
have had a fair few myself but dont seem to use their names

kizzy-became beany
bumble-became wosha
cheyenne-became cuddles

anyone else do this or is it just me whos strange

I call my horse (Dibbs) monkey. Not sure why!

I call Merlin "fatty" because hes not

lol

but i used to call my old pony the "croc" as in crocodile - long back short legs

Nope not at all we nickname everything and change names. At the moment my sisters kitten is called Mustachio or Toin by me and her and her son. Mustafa by her husband and Smudge by her daughter. Poor thing will have an identity crisis.

I generally call Sizzle Fatty even though he isn't fat. Blu is Captain Grumpy and Teddy is Tacker.

We never call each other by our names either we each have many, many nicknames

Leo - became Nignog - and then just Nig
George - became Possom

webster became bear.. thou he did look like one..
pepsi became mouse
tiger became wigs
Monty is just trouble.. as hes always causing it!!!

I had Rosheen who became Sheeny Bopper. Lord only knows why the Bopper got added, but it always stuck. Just goes to show that names dont always get shortened!

I rarely call my horse by her proper stable name

I call Finella, Nells Bells or Nelly Belly Boo!

Hullabaloo is known as The Bluester or the Hullabalooster.
Rahfari is known as Girl

I call my horse Monkey (stable name taffy)too cause that is exactly what he is a right little tinker, the kind of horse you would leave to keep in your garden but wouldnt leave the kitchen door open as you would probably find him in the lounge with his feet up watching TV???

River - Riv Roo/Roo though a have a friend who calls him fatty bang because when i got him he banged the door at dinner time...

Zeus (Passport name Zieuz-Man) - Ze, littl' un or same friend calls him george...

My old mare Danu was always called Doobie...

i think their names just develop!

Our new horse was called Milly but her show name is little miss tatty bag and we call her tatty.If I had known her name was Milly I would have kept it but she was shown to us as tat tat or tatty.
