Horse of the year show back on terrestrial TV?

Watching now….huge thanks to channel 4 for superb coverage, to all presenters for very good coverage….it is extremely enjoyable, lovely to see all the different classes…
I hope the bosses at Channel 4 see how pleased we the “horsey” community are that you have taken a “punt” and spent time and money on the filming of this prestigious show…so often we criticise the television companies for not showing equestrian events and you Channel 4 have gone the other way….I will be sending an email to the company to thank them…

Well they won’t if people complain about it unnecessarily….
Do not expect television companies to show equestrian events if they do not get viewing figures and also if there are unpleasant comments…..

When I used to go it always seemed to be the Atherstone . I think it’s been good coverage , hopefully it’ll happen again next year . Although it was strange not having the usual theme tune which has been around forever .

And is that the best you can say…
We saw almost all the type/classes of horse/pony…they took us behind the scenes, spoke to people like Carey Knox, Jeff Osborne, grooms, people involved in running of the show….and if I am not mistaken the legend of a showjumping steward Frank was pinning sash on Shane Breen….
It was well filmed, edited, produced, the closing scenes were emotional and although there will never be a delivery of The Horse to match Dorian Williams, Matt Baker fronted the show very well…..and did his absolute best on The Horse…

I’m not aware I had complained unnecessarily or made any unpleasant comments to be honest. I enjoyed it, and would like to see more of it!

TBF I don't think they had any idea how long it was going to take them to edit all of it into a final program, great that they've gone for a saturday night, though I'm a bit behind so catching up.

The section A outshone everything she showed against at the royal welsh where she qualified was great she won.

I enjoyed the FBHS comment that one of the main issues of being fat was that it causes back problems 🤷‍♀️🤣.

Also why does watching mounted games always get me emotional ?! I think it's great to have a summary show to introduce the general public to how much that goes on.
 
It was lovely to see, I hope C4 think it was a success and show a bit more next year. Jeff Osborne is a fantastic man, still competing at 89. I didn't like the driven heavy horse class, too much bling but each to their own.
