I would be annoyed about this, if the new rules really mean that you can't warm up in boots and bandages. Surely an oversight.

Having had a horse shy and scrape down the inside of his cannon bone (no showing, no riding for a while) thereafter I always used boots to warm up prior to a showing class.

I'm not sure where this whole idea has come from, the rule (almost word for word) is already in the bsps and nps rule book (maybe BSHA etc. Too but I don't know)
