Hi everyone, I would like it if you could help me a little. My 6 year old warmblood has been going on and off lame since last thursday.
The first time we noticed was when I lunged him, he was fine for about 15 mins and then after that he just started limping on his off four. We stopped lunging him and let him walk a little and he started to get better, however not quite right.
On Tuesday I got on him to school him and he was alright again for 10 mins and then the same thing happened again, and again he returned to normal after he stopped work. The following day the farrier was out and confirmed that he didn't have an abscess within his foot or any problems with his feet. He was trotted up and down and showed no signs of lameness.
I called the back specialist out and he confirmed there was nothing wrong with his back that could have cause any lameness, however he was slightly tighter in the neck on the side of his lameness.
Im really confused on what to do with him now, i cant ride him until monday because of his back just being done, but i'm also worried it could be something more serious.
Thanks guys for any advice
