I found Level 1 very easy, never having owned horses but researched plenty

ive done 1,2 and 3 but havent got round to do my level 4 yet. I really enjoyed it and it gave me something do when in the winter months when I couldnt ride.

I did 1, 2 and 3 in a year at my local college at evening classes, one part per term, and then we were contacted to let us know that they would be running part 4. Most of our class did part 4, so it was like meeting old friends a year later. You had to have passed the first three to take part 4, I think, but most of us passed. It was most enjoyable, and very useful.
So I would contact your local colleges to see if they are running them.

I did them via a college so governement funded. Id look through the internet, speak to your local colleges or sometimes they have them in the back of H&H

These courses were set up to help us BHS Registered Instructors earn more money (and to give horse owners more knowledge obviously!). If you want to do a course look on the Register of instructors on the BHS website. If there is an "H" next to there name they run the course. Please support us freelance instructors, we give better value for money than colleges, it tends to be smaller groups and more personal.
