Advice on horse worming can be conflicting and confusing to the horse owner, who may be presented with different information from veterinarians, yard managers and retail outlets. Research in the UK has found that horse worms are developing resistance to the active ingredients in chemical wormers, which could be alarming to the horse owner. Much of this information, including the environmental risks of using wormers, is largely unavailable outside of academia. If you would like to give your views on these aspects of horse worming and aid undergraduate research into the environmental impacts of horse wormers at the University of Hertfordshire, please click on the following link and complete the survey.

Done - and Mrs Numpty here didn't realise about environmental hazards of Pramox. Only bothered reading the dosage information. I suppose its because I assumed it would be usual non useful info. Hurries off to check syringe.
