haha April is...

The Prize Fighter
This horse has opinions and is ready to defend them. It is in your best interest to listen to him. To get the job done you must work with him. He will have numerous rules and requirements. He will also get you to the winner's circle when you have developed a working relationship. Unlike the Rock Star that is there for the glory and recognition, the Prize Fighter is there because they love the sport and the competition.

VERY accurate! She is an opinionated, complex mare who can be a bisom at home but turns into a show off when you take her to competitions

Mine is a "Rock Star"! Can't be bothered emailing for the full description, but the one but the bit given is;

The Rock Stars are confident and charismatic. They are expressive and strong minded. They love to show you what they know but are hard to get to focus on the small details of the task. They are found in many competitive arenas, usually at the top of their field.

I think is sums her up quite well, if only her wussy mum would compete her!

My horse is:

SEAF - The People Pleaser

Soft, sensitive, and very sweet describes this horse that will try and try to please you. They like to be told exactly what you want and then have you help them perform it. This is not your go-it-alone type of horse. They need you for support and can get very rattled if expectations are too high. This horse is in your life for the relationship.

This is him to a T!
He does tense up if he's not sure of what's happening or is not sure what's asked of him. He looks after me but he also looks for reassurance from me- very much a teamwork effort for both of us!

Beanie is a
SLAA - The Lone Wolf

Low key, low energy, low expectations, are what you need to work successfully with this type of horse. The Lone Wolf is not bursting out of his stall to try to fit into your program and to please you. He is easily content and can do a good job for you as long as it is not demanding physically or emotionally. He likes his world predictable and safe. He would rather be a little bored than stressed. If repeatedly put into pressure situations he can react seemingly unpredictably . If you can find a quiet solid job for him, he will perform it repeatedly and safely.

Some of it fits.

Great fun...my lad is...
The Reluctant Rock Star
This horse has a big ego, loves attention, loves to be in the limelight, but doesn't really like all the work it takes to be there. That is where you come in. You will need to push, persuade and motivate every inch of the way.
How very true...a real Welshie character!!!

Worked out the letters at begining stand for
S - submissive
L - Lazy
A - Afraid
A - Aloof

Whilst I would say he is submissive and a little afraid, he isn't really lazy and is always over his stable door trying to cuddle people so definately not aloof, he does however prefer to be handled by people he knows, ie me and the girl at the stables who looks after him

Sparks is a...SLAF - The Wall Flower (which generally sums her up quite well)

Wrap these sweet, kind, gentle horses up and keep them safe. They are not very brave and tend to internalize their worries. They want to please and will try very hard for you, but they can be pushed too fast very easily. They make few demands of you and are quite content to perform the same tasks repeatedly as long as you are pleased with them and the jobs are not to strenuous. Quiet enough for the beginner once they understand what is expected of them.

Your horse is a...
DEAF - The Wild Card
Strong minded but insecure, this personality needs an equally strong rider to help them feel safe. Be loving and affectionate, but don't give up your leadership. Once you have them on your page, they are very friendly and have a strong desire to please. They can be highly competitive and will give you their all. Not a horse for a junior or amateur until much later in life.

Strong minded but insecure

Silver is DEAA - The Boss

This strong authority figure is all business and can be resistant and difficult if not working at a job that they like. They are usually the herd boss and are used to calling the shots and running the show. You will have this to overcome in training, and you will have to be there to help them get their job done as fear can easily overcome them. This horse will call on you to be firm, fair and fearless

Some of it's right but some of it's way off - Silver's about the least afraid pony in the universe (walked through an industrial estae on a firday afternoon and all he wanted to do was go and have a look and the iron gurders being cut up with those spark things and visit ten Harely Davidsons that had their engines running

Oh I didn't realise there were letters too - April got DLCA Prizefigher

Dominant - yes
lazy - sometimes - yes when schooling, no when jumping!
Curious - a little
Aloof - yes a little. she's more friendly than she used to be though.

There are 16 different types in all!

The description matches better than the letters...

That was fun, S is the 'goddess' type ....SECF - The Goddess

The Goddess is loved by most of the other horses and most people. They are expressive and sensitive and emotional. You will know how they feel. They try very hard to please and will worry and be anxious if you are not happy with them. In the negative they can have scattered energy that is hard to get focused. This personality can be loved on as much as you want.
