This horse has a big ego, loves attention, loves to be in the limelight, but doesn't really like all the work it takes to be there. That is where you come in. You will need to push, persuade and motivate every inch of the way.
Soft, sensitive, and very sweet describes this horse that will try and try to please you. They like to be told exactly what you want and then have you help them perform it. This is not your go-it-alone type of horse. They need you for support and can get very rattled if expectations are too high. This horse is in your life for the relationship.
This is him to a T!
He does tense up if he's not sure of what's happening or is not sure what's asked of him. He looks after me but he also looks for reassurance from me- very much a teamwork effort for both of us!
Shy, suspicious, sensitive! Are you a solid, consistent enough rider with low enough expectations to be able to work with this horse? They need a solid, well planned out training program to be able to perform well. They want a job that they can perform perfectly. Each step in the training process needs to be methodical and repeated until they really, really get it. If things get too hard to handle, this horse's evasion is simply to leave - mentally, emotionally, and physically if possible. If they find a job they like and are allowed to learn it slowly and correctly, they will give you an endless amount of effort.
If you are a novice or amateur, this is the horse for you. They are quiet and predictable, loving and engaging, willing to learn new things, willing to hang out with you and do nothing. This is not your big ego, career-oriented horse. They are happy to just be. Consistent and loyal, all you need to do is enjoy!

Shadowfax is "steady Eddy" too!! There weren't any questions about a sudden tendency to be a dizzy airhead though!! Suitable for a Novice?? Hmmm! Good fun though...
Pickle is a wall flower! the description is so true!
Wrap these sweet, kind, gentle horses up and keep them safe. They are not very brave and tend to internalize their worries. They want to please and will try very hard for you, but they can be pushed too fast very easily. They make few demands of you and are quite content to perform the same tasks repeatedly as long as you are pleased with them and the jobs are not to strenuous. Quiet enough for the beginner once they understand what is expected of them.
I did it for my husband too... he came out as a DECA 'macho man'... LOL! he likes to be touched, petted and groomed, never stands still and will kick out if reprimanded
Rozzi is a solo artist:
SLCA - The Solo Artist
This horse needs a job, but not just any job, certainly not one that you chose for him, but a job that he wants to do. He is not easily motivated, so forcing him to do the job of your choice is going to be a long and arduous task. Although not overly enthused, this horse is still a quiet, good mount for most riders. If you can find the job he likes, it will get done with enthusiasm and efficiency.
Sunny is a macho man (shame she's a girl but hey?)
DECA - The Macho Man
If you have a serious job to do, this is the horse for it. You will have to get out of the way and allow them some freedom in how they do it. Sit down, shut up and hold on! It is initially hard to get them to accept that you do know what you are talking about, so training in the beginning can be challenging. Use psychology and variety and start them into their career at a very early age.
Daisy... unfortunately she's a mare but apart from that its spot on

My lad's the Wild Card
Strong minded but insecure, this personality needs an equally strong rider to help them feel safe. Be loving and affectionate, but don't give up your leadership. Once you have them on your page, they are very friendly and have a strong desire to please. They can be highly competitive and will give you their all. Not a horse for a junior or amateur until much later in life.

Sisters gelding is also the Wild Card - think they fit them quite well!
Mine is the reluctant rock star - very accurate. She likes to be the centre of attention but if she doesn't want to do something nothing will persuade her!
