My mum wantso to commisison someone to paint Sienna. She is bloody minded (naturally being a mother) and wants a full side on picture in oil!!!
Does anyone have an artist they recommend, have used or indeed, any artists online who want a commission.......

PF on here does AMAZING pictures - loads of people on here have had them done by her, im sure people will post some up for you. Shes got a website aswell, but im not sure what the address is.

she does commisions but she does take a long time to do them.

Im trying to find a good UK artist myself, they seem to be in short supply!
 
belinda walker (i think) did my horse - she's in wiltshire and i was very impressed. she has a website but i need to check the back of the portrait when i get home tonight for the address. she did an amazingly lifelike pic of my parents' dog which she now uses as her homepage.
 
I like your work,I do!!I also paint and have been told I could make good money from it .......it's just time I hate working in oils,but,love watercolours......don't want to give up day job just yet to do so......also have loads of dog paintings to do for my Mum,who is with the Lakeland terrier club and judges at Crufts once in awhile.......so my projects being to do two friends horses that past away....and drawings and paintings of Lakey's for my Mother.....got to get head down and do it!!!

You should be able to see the likeness she captures of each of her subjects. All clients have been extremely pleased so far &amp; several have been brought to tears over the likeness.

Our friends got a lovely one done of our old pointer George it really is like him and very well done will find out who did it. Think its an oil.
 
aha!!!! heres this post! i was looking for it.... a guy called martyn white or is it martin white not sure. he advertises in pegasus magazine and i have seen his work first hand and must say it is AMAZING. he has a website, should come up if you google it - if u cant find it let me know my friend has his wifes email so can get it 4 u. he does head portraits in oil
