hi all, im thinking of getting a portrait done of my horse for my birthday....only problem is im not sure how!!
i cant decide between just his head, or a full body of him standing..or moving? or me on him, or him jumping? i really want one of him that really captures him, he adores jumping and makes a lovely shape over a jump, he has good confo so a whole body shot would be nice, and has such a intelligent look about him that a head shot would be equally nice...i just cant decide!! he also is totally obsessed about hunting, (to the point that winter is a complete nightmare for me, evan a early morning ride will rack his brains all day thinking that we may be hunting!!) so thought maybe something with a hunting theme or maybe just a hunt whip near him? thought of maybe having a hunting scene with him in it but dont want to be distracted from him.....
any idea's, recommendations for artist, and if anyone has had there's done would be nice to see them!
also has anyone had one done they didnt like?? i'd hate for my parents to splash out and me to think it's not quite right!
