has anyone else noticed this or am i wrong - just at the bottom end, the more competition horse and anything special is still way up there but anything less than 5k seems to have dropped.- i remember looking last year and to get something that would hack and not kill you and pop a jump you were looking at 4-5k, now there seems to be more about for 3k.My friend reckons the credit crunch is starting to take effect.. RC alrounders are still like gold dust tho! Just interested to see what you think?

Don't know about horses but I can't sell my house

I think it depends on how realistic the seller is. I had a conversation with a woman today who has 4 colts to sell, all recently born. They all have 'stallion potential' (despite some being from crappy mares) and are all between £5k and £6k.... madness!

Hopefully horses are getting cheaper - looking for a nice middleweight coloured thats done a bit and has ability to do an intro. They were ££££'s a while ago.

People are scared of the imminent R word, so they are selling loaning etc asap. The market was and possibly is very quiet still, I paid hundreds less for the new one than he was advertised for.

There's still alot of over inflated prices though - know someone trying to sell a HW cob, not done anything much for stupid money - and said she wanted a quick sale

I dont think they are getting cheaper, over the last 6 weeks i have been ringing up about horses to go and look at out of H&H just nice hunter school master types ranginging from 4500K - 10000K and they have all been sold within days of them being advertised. The 10K horse i rang on the Thurs as H&H came out arranged to view on the Sunday, and the woman rang me to say it had been sold Friday morning for full asking price! I wish the price of horses would come down, I do beleive horse boxes are becoming difficult to sell at the moment and companies not getting orders.
