Finally got a stable for my little Roxi-Poo and invested in a weaving grid with the insert!

Put him in there today for the first time, with lots of toys and 'without' him being secured to the wall

I'm a proud mum **wipes tear from my eye** ...and OMG.... he isn't a pony anymore

Rox is officially a horse! Measured him and he's at the top end of 14.3hh, not far off 15hh! My baby's growing up! Only back in February he was just a smidge under 13.3hh! xx

Please be very very careful with a weave grill, it is not unheard of that they get there feet through the bars, and can break their leg, it is better to fill in the grill completely than leave it for them to get there leg over. Especially with a baby.

Oh Im pleased these babies have a way of getting themselves into trouble even when there is none, god only knows how mine has made it till 16 and still behaves badly.

Any pics.

lmaooooo I know exactly what you mean! Rox is pure mustard. I bought him in January as an unhandled 10 month old colt. I was poo picking the isolation paddock, and he stood his front end in the wheel barrow.... very pleased with himself - although at that time, I couldn't even stroke him lol! Here's some pictures of my little monkey...

Here he is a teeny weeny foal with his mummy...

Oh he is just perfect isnt he.

I never took a picture of mine as a youngster as he was just so ugly until he hit three.

He is so leggy how big do you expect him to be? More pics I love coloured babies, and he is turning into a very handsome guy.

My instructor says the same thing about youngsters! She reckons they are at their 'ugliest' as 2 year olds! The vet what did his passport estimates him to be 16.1. Some showing judges have asked me, told them 16.1 and they said they thought he'd be bigger. Then the dentist was out the other day, she breeds, and she said 16hh tops! So time will tell lol!

His mum was a 16.2 french ex racer, his dad was a middle weight coloured traditional cob, he stood at 14.2 ish as a 2 year old when he covered Rox's mum. You would love the breeders yard I got him from, she has another coloured stallion now, this year she had 10 in foal! Majority were coloured. She has got a gorgeous paint filly with blue eyes - I WANT HER!!!!
