that is disgusting. if i found those people who did that i would actually kill them, i really cannot understand people who would want to hurt a defenseless animal xxx

Oh gosh! I've heard some AWFUL SICKENING attacks on horses, much more worse than this that I hope to God we never have to hear about again.
 
Are these kids on drugs or something - I mean how could they - its just awful. Times are changing and I'm afraid its only going to get worse. I remember when several years ago there were attacks on horses in my area (then Hants). The police thought it was something to do with the occult - just some looney though I expect. They never caught anyone for it. A pony belonging to Davey Jones (the monkeys) had to be put down after it was attacked.
I hope they catch the little b******ds for this one and hang em high. The poor poor mare - and her owners must be distraught. Why dont they put this in the national press? A week ago, a 2 year old collie was tied up and set on fire. Luckily he managed to get away when the flex he had been tired up with melted thourhg but he is now fighting for his life. No-one saw who did it - another case of turning a blind eye. Probelm is if they are ever caught, they probably get off with a caution. It just makes me sick to think there are people like that out there. Maybe we should start a national campaign to do something - a petition to No. 10?

It's awful. I don't know how people can do it. IN my area there's been a few cases of youths cornering horses on a cliff until the horse backs off the edge and a horse had been let oout of it's field and it had been tied up with wire. It's terrible, as this place used to belong to the animals and we should respect that. These animals have been brought up now with main roads, trucks, skips, diggers etc. When we have to remember these animals could be galloping over plains when instead their stuck here, having rocks thrown at the etc. It's awful!

Hi I started the threads on different discussion groups and started the reward appeal, it was on Central News on Monday night and will be in the next edition of Horse and Hound. Maggie will not be forgotten, we will do everything to bring her killers to justice. Thanks for your support
 
The Appeal fund now stands at £416 already, with lots more anticipated next week with people who are sending cheques. It is hoped that the total will reach £1000 by the end of next week...

All donations appreciated to ensure Justice For Maggie.
 
OMG what a beautiful beautiful mare, I just cried my eyes out, what must those poor women be going through. And its not as if the horse was ill, she was stolen from them by barbaric act of cruelty.

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to them
