I've recently bought a green 9 year old Irish Sports Horse and I'm having some teething problems. The most recent one is today in canter he put his head right down in between his knees and felt a bit 'bucky'. If he did buck, they weren't big but it was enough to scare me!
Only yesterday did I have his back and teeth checked and they are in good condition. I know his saddle isn't a perfect fit as it's my other horse's.
He did feel fresh as he's had a few days off whilst I got his back checked.
I originally got his back checked as he was hollowing but since this has been ruled out, I need help!
He has hunted in Ireland and showjumped so this schooling lark is quite new to him!
