Horse Quest Wanted Adverts

Has anyone had success advertising for a horse to compete using Horse Quest?

I already compete one horse on behalf of his owner in show jumping and it would be lovely to have another to take out in the lorry since I have a spare space. I often see adverts on Horse Quest with riders looking for competition rides but would be good to know if anyone has had any success with such an ad?

I'd be interested in what response you get as I'm half thinking about doing it from the opposite side as A really doesn't have time to get Saffy out jumping just now and she is wasted loafing around.

I haven't myself but a friend did and got offered lots of really nice horses!

I think with the climate as it is at the moment its a great idea you will probably get a lot of horses offered as people cant afford/dont have time for them x

I did a wanted ad on Horse Quest when I was looking and was pleasantly suprised with the replies I got.
Nothing was quite what I wanted but I was very specific.
Its always worth a try as nothing to loose but a few pennies for the advert.

I places a wanted ad and was surprised at the number of replies I got. I've put horse hunting on hold but would definitely do another wanted ad in the new year when I'm looking again as I think it's money well spent.
