Horse racing thriller books?

My daughter saw a series of books (about 6 she thinks) that were horse racing thrillers/mysteries but needless to say she can't remember the names, the author, or where she saw them. She doesn't think they were John Francome or Dick Francis, do you know of any others?

If they're oldish it could have been John Welcome or newer but not always about racing there is Lyndon Stacey. Can't she remember any titles?
Nearly forgot, what about Jenny Pitman, think she's had 3/4 out?

I have loads of Dick Francis books (almost all of them I think - at least 20) to be honest I can't remember which ones I've read and which ones I haven't as after about the 10th one they all seemed to merge into each other !!

Will happily give them all (for free) to anyone who wants them together with a couple of John Francomes I have laying around.
