Please do not turn this thread into a racing debate....!!!

Im going to the races on sat 3rd at haydock park but have no idea what to wear.....??

I do not do dresses...or skirts. im not a tomboy (im a girl btw just to clear that up lol!) i just dont do dresses.....

so for that date...at that races - what do i wear??? (ive not been for ages!)

thanks :)

You will see everything but smart trousers are fine, with a nice shirt if hot or a jacket if cold. If you are going to move about a lot comfortable shoes are wise as, while Haydock is quite compact, you can end up walking a long way.

thanks :)

i was thinking smart black pants and a top/shirt.....

Ive been years ago but then went in jeans :o

Yep i would go with trousers and a smart top. I love Haydock are you going to one of the music evenings or is it daytime racing?

Day time :)

i just want a day out with my friends and some nice pics off my SLR cam of galloping horses to go on my wall!! :D

My dad's going the music night in july (was going to go an now gutted im not lol)!....

Chester next :D

I don't do dresses either so I just wear smart cotton trousers with a shirt and linen jacket over with flat pumps on. Better be comfy and smart and enjoy your day than trussed up in something you don't feel comfortable in! Don't forget your sunnies as I'm sure the weather will be wonderful! Have a fab time!

thanks :) ive never been one for wearing dresses or skirts - im used to living in trackies and jods at the yard or taking the dog out. Its rare i dress up anyhow :D
