Horse repeatedly for sale!! Argh!

I've just skim read this. The one I feel sorry the most is the poor flipping horse, he looks a real love from his photo and I feel a bit sorry for him to be honest especially in the way he has been described.

I always think its sad when horses can't sell for whatever reason, but the discussion about him on this forum has probably sealed his future now.

But this horse has been for sale since he was 6/7, he is now 11.... that is why people find it a bit tedious seeing the same ad on a regular basis for quite so many years!

The same ad, with the same photos and videos, although I did notice this time that the ridden videos where hes lame are no longer being shown. And its not just one ad, its loads on lots of very popular groups on Facebook, so its very noticeable.

Actually, it sounds to me as if some posters have a personal axe to grind with the advertiser. Why on earth people feel the need to do this is beyond me!

No, I really don't think they do, I think they just sigh and :rolleyes3: when they see the advert posted on every national equestrian facebook page, again, after years.

Exactly! I used to read the threads, popcorn in hand, but really theres only so many times you can read the same thing without getting fed up of seeing it

Surely, then, they juwst sigh and continue with their lives? Why bother posting about it on here and wasting my time as well as their own?

There used to be a site which appeared to be full of scam adverts - same photo used for multiple horses and photos obviously pinched from legit ads, very odd wording or obviousy fake addresses/locations. That site seems to have been taken down, so I suppose some of the scammers must have moved onto other sites

and facebook is what exactly? :rolleyes3::rolleyes3:

Not sure what you do on yours but I definitely don't do that on mine. Pretty sure FB is so you can upload your OWN pictures to share with friends. It wasn't created for people to steal someone else's picture, upload it and then slag the original owner off.

I don't know the man personally but I know of a couple of people, both of whom used to be on the same yard as myself, who've worked for him, very briefly.

I've never seen the horse in question but his two coloureds are almost always for sale, for a high price, and with the same old photos.
Sounds like it's the same story with this horse too.

Same situation for me, I assume you must be near me?

Guy selling has a bit of a reputation locally, and it's not a good one!
