Horse rescue and rehabilitation site?

Does anyone know if the RSPCA or other charities are still looking for sites to house and rehabilitate horses? I've got 5 beautiful stables and 11 acres of grass and a top notch arena. A friend told me that about a yard where they provide accommodation for rescue horses for a small fee. Does anyone know if they want new sites, given the economic down turn.

They all have web pages and face book pages where you could ask them the question. I am sure they would use your facilities, but you would probably have to be responsible for looking after them. Several of the charities do short term fostering, adoption of young stock until they are ready to be homes.

I had two stables and empty field and have 2 youngsters from Blue Cross, and they are appealing as are WHW for people to take on youngster short term to help with current crisis.

That sounds like a great opportunity for some horses to get help and let's face it they need all the help they can get at the moment!!

There's some great horse charities out there alongside the big ones like WHW and Redwings. What about Hillside or Equine Market Watch. All fab charities x
