Had a exciting morning yesterday, after friends mums cob, went through the fence and fell into adit and was in 5ft of water we think she was like that since 3 in the morning, we had had a really bad thunderstorm which we think caused her to go through the fence.
She is fine and only had a couple of scratches on her and after being in the water for possibly 7/8 hours the vet was amazed she wasn't even chilled.
She was a absolute star and and fire crew were amazing we cant thank them enough!

Glad to hear she's ok, must be a tough cookie if she didnt even get a chill.
Same has just happened to my close friends horse a 17.3hh Cleveland bay but im not sure how or why she got there or how she is as it was in my local paper that the fire brigade had to get her out, not sure the owner knew as she went away for christmas.

My friends poor mum had just come off a night shift and couldnt see her and found her down there its prob a 10ft drop, i now 2 horses its happened to, well the other was even more remarkable as he fall 100ft down a mine shaft! i have no idea down he got out of that injury free!

10ft's far enough, 100ft thats mad. no broken legs or anything that's a very lucky horse. Sounds like just what you want after a long night shift lucky your friends mum went up.

it was rather exceptional he was on 999 lifesavers if anyone rembers that, hes still going stong, bless him, but friends mum said she came home and had the feeling some thing just wasnt right we are all so relieved that she was ok.

I used to watch that alot i love all them kind of programmes, good to hear that, not gone down any holes since?
It's strange you always know if something is wrong.
