Whilst driving up to the yard this morning I had a rider collide with my car!

Now it was a quite twisty lane and I was going no more than 20mph and I know the lane well. About 40m ahead is a lady on a grey horse looking out of control. I pull over as much as I can, however she seemed to be doing nothing to pull up or try to stop. She then hits both my wing mirror and back corner if my car, I jump out the car to see if she is ok and she hasn't stopped!

Still no attempt that I can see to stop so I call to her are you ok? She answers yes fine and continues careering/jogging down the road.

I'm sorry but I did all I could and she just kept jogging and made no visible effort to stop!

No wonder non horsey people despair at us being on the roads! I can only hope she got home safe!

Riders need to think about what they do on the roads!

Sounds a bit like she hit your car and didn't care if she's making no attempt to slow up. She shouldn't be on a road with a horse like that, it could have been much more serious, or you could have been injured if the horse had lashed out and kicked your car.
When my friend had a car run into the back of her horse, the mare leapt up and kicked out and her legs went through the passenger window!
You should have followed and told her off for being out of control!
