Horse Riding Tours Reccomendations - West of Ireland, nearGalway

A friend and I are going to Galway, Ireland in May 2018 and we are looking for recommendations to sneak in a bit of horse riding whilst we are over there and looking for some sort of horse riding tour I guess (just for half or one day)? It would be the dream to ride a beautiful Connemara type over the beautiful Irish countryside or beaches!!
We are both experienced riders so not looking for a basic plod down the road.
Any help or recommendations would be gratefully received!

I know of quite a few places but I haven't been to any of them myself so I can't vouch for them.

There is a place that does a coastal trek with Connemara ponies.( I don't know if they go on the beach) They have a Connemara pony stud attached. It's called Erislannon Manor in Clifden Co.Galway

Watching with interest for ideas of where to go once I have transport

At the moment the place I go for a decent hack is over to Cong to ride in the woods. I often see groups out from Ashford Castle, link below, who seem to be enjoying themselves. The woods are huge and great fun to ride in. Seems to be more ISH types than Connemara ponies when I've seen them, and its lakeside rather than seaside, but it is a big lake!
