Does anyone know what has happened to this company? I ordered a rug on 17th March and it is STILL not here and although they answered my first call/email they have ignored me since :( I am £40odd down and no rug.... RUBBISH!!! Who would I even complain to? Thanks. L x

They do take ages to pick up the phone but I just let it ring and it eventually gets picked up! I would imagine that they are out of stock and are waiting for more stock. They always say how many they have available in a certain size etc but they never do!

I called the other day about a specific rug that I knew had been discontinued by Horseware, I called to ask if HR4U had it in stock and they for once were honest and said no, but they could get it in for me, to which I advised that they couldn't as there were none left in the country so she said ok and put the phone down! I think they are sloppy and wouldn't buy anything I was urgent for, but in the past I did buy from them as they were cheap - not so much anymore tho as they are getting expensive.

Oh dear, I suggest you search posts on this company - let's just say your situation is not unusual! I waited 3 mnths for a h'weight t/out rug last winter, so cancelled the order. I wrote to them in the end as like yourself, could never get anyone on the phone, and had to threaten then with Trading Standards to get my refund, which still took over a month to come through.
Good luck!

Couple of years ago I ordered a rug from them. Took months of first nagging then threatening legal action just to get a response. The Head Banana eventually rang me and said they don't hold any stock - they just advertise it and when there's enough interest they buy that item in in bulk. Eventually, he promised to return my payment but never did. Barge pole job hun.

I ordered off them a few years ago, can't remember exactly what happened, I think it just took AGES to arrive, I just rememeber thinking I'd never order from them again

I think half the time they have these websites and don't actually have the stock, then they have to try and get it from somewhere

I would reccomend you write to them so you have something dated that you have sent, I know you've emailed them but you can't guarantee they've received it I suppose they could argue the toss

I know this thread was last joined back in 2010, but I just wanted to add that this company are still as bad as ever. I've just spent over a month trying to get a refund back from them for some stable doors which were marked as in stock on their website but weren't in fact made and would have taken too long to arrive. After cancelling it's almost impossible to get your money back and just as difficult to speak to anyone. I have threatened them with Trading Standards so we'll see if that does anything, but you shouldn't have to resort to this sort of thing just to get a refund. Terrible company, Beware!!
