Hi, I was hoping to get some help. I work as a solo yard manager looking after a variety of horses ( exraces, ponies, TB foals and yearlings) 14 all together. Working full time - 40hrs a week. I do everything on my own from sorting farriers (we have 3 different company’s doing certain horses) vets and general visits to the yard. I do all first aid when needed, weigh charts for the youngsters, all stable jobs mucking out, feeds, jet washing - everything. I obviously look after youngstock so it is dangerous work.
ive worked at the same place for 14 years - 8 years as just a groom and 6 years as a yard manager.
Can any yard managers message me on here with what they earn? Im overdue a payrise and wondering what to ask for. Thank you
