Horse scene around Edinburgh?

I am looking to move to Edinburgh and was wondering what the horse scene is like?
Are there plenty of livery yards? Or even yards to rent?
Show wise - are there many affiliated show jumping shows?
Any livery recommendations? My partner and I have 3 horses jumping up to 135cm.
Any other tips or advice for the area welcome!

Have you checked out if there are any Facebook groups around Lothian? That might be your best bet for recommendations re livery etc. I used to live there years ago and can’t say it was very horsey…but I’m sure there are places nearby because Edinburgh is a reasonable sized city so expect there will be livery yards for people working there. I’d recommend somewhere with an indoor school if you can find one…the weather is fearce

There's mount skip ,oxenford,towerfarm (that's a riding school as well ) all with in reach from Edinburgh there's also Thornton and Edinburgh equestian and a few other,s as well first 3 and Thornton all have indoor schools
