Horse Science Trivia: How much of this did you know?

I've been following Chloe Sharrock's science news and at the end of each post she has a trivia question with the answers assembled on their own page.
How many of these things did you know? I did NOT know the one about the foal's legs.

I knew them two but am interested to know about the 2 pairs of ribs. 18 pairs of ribs 8 true, 8 false that is 16 ribs, what about the other two?

I was always told it was 8 true and 10 false.

It is - they do actually have that at the top of the answer - they seem to have got it mixed up in the explanation!

I new all the answers. there not that uncommon. The saliva one is quiet well know i thought?! horses have to produce saliva in order to bolus food.

Also, the foals legs are usually used to calculate the height the foal will finally make.

Yup they cocked the explanation up.
