we've found four horses to view next month :D
im still waiting on videos of them but
I'm so excited that I've only got 3 weeks to wait until I get to start looking properly.

on the side, timberland arrives on Monday :) his plane left sharjah on time so now I just have to hope that he travels well on the lorry and the two boys can meet for the first time.

it's frustrating having to wait, isn't it?
hope it's your dream horse :)

I was worried I'd been too picky with my criteria:
16hh +
gelding
prefer WB of some sort
capable of jumping foxhunter :o

No such thing as too picky (within reason lol)

I wanted
17hh+
5 or 6yo
potential of eventing up to novice
Gelding
Not grey

Waiting for videos of a thoroughbred x clydesdale 5yo, approx 17'2, gelding :)

I hope you get what you want, don't settle for less but be prepared to wait :)

we've been extremely lucky with our horses.
the first one I went to see came home with us :)

hopefully we'll find the horse for us. good luck with your search :)

It's so exciting! I just got my new horse on Sunday and we viewed him the week before. He was the first horse that I looked at and he is perfect!
My criteria was:
16hh+
Gelding
4-6yo
Has to have done basics but not too much
Eventing potential
Finer breed (TB or lightweight ISH)

spotsrock - that sounds like the kind of thing I would do. actually, that's what happened with my first one - parents wanted a pony and I ended with a 16.2 TB/WB :D

rhino - the agent has said that these horses are in England and Ireland. easier to view seeing as the last horse he found us was in Switzerland :p
if he doesn't find anything suitable then my dad has said that we'll look ourselves so I'll keep aileen in mind :)

I'm trying to keep an open mind because I really really want a younger (not broken) version of my big ginger, Jerry.
