Looking for

15.2-16.2
mare or gelding
Ideally under 10, but not a hard and fast rule
showjumper with consistent record up to 1.10
must hack and be easy on the ground

Preferably not too far from Wiltshire for viewing, could be flexible for the right horse.

Substantial and very realistic budget for the right horse.

I was going to post that that there are some possibilities on nfed but looking now I can’t see any. The good ones must still be selling quick as all that is left are the oldies and overpriced TBs.

I've just told her that I don't think prices are dropping at the top end of the market. I'd expect the ordinary RC horses to be falling now, with the inflation pressures on horse owners, but there still seems to be a fair amount of money sloshing about at the top end.

I don't know what she has at the moment but I got Wiggy from Charlotte Seymour Williams (CSW Equine) in Badminton. Every single thing she said about him is 100% true, even down to him not liking having his girth tightened quickly. She had some lovely horses in when I went to see him. Worth a look. I had a quick look on horse quest . Ref282285 competed up to fox hunter , says bargain horse to the right home, might be worth a call to see why.

290320 doing double clears discovery

290004, current owner doing dressage but he did SJ previously, looks like a nice type and is with Amy Derber who I think has had good reviews on here.

There aren’t many that fit all of your friends criteria , as I was never a SJ I’m not sure what heights discovery and fox hunter are so they may not be competing at a high enough level

Kimba Farm stud (HP16 if not too far) had a couple recently priced pop up on my FB feed recently. Not sure whether all the criteria are met but always worth a look

Just looked on H&H for show jumpers and there is a mare who might suit, she is in Somerset, being sold by Charlotte Lacey.. 16.1, 6 yes old , qualified for discovery 2nd rounds 2023. Sorry don’t know how to do a link ,
