Well after saving up, have decided to purchase another one, so any help? I have found some that i like-ish, looking for a TB type. What do you all think of theses?

I like the last one best, however the advert implies that he was still racing as a 7 year old which would put me off. I imagine racing until 7 would have given a lot of strain on joints etc so I'd be worried about soundness issues in a few years.
To be honest I think they'd all be worth a look.
 
I really like the look of the one in Surrey, good price too.
The one in Kent looks quite nice, but doesn't catch my eye or stand out like the one in Surrey does for me.
Personally I don't like the look of the one in Essex at all, I think it looks odd.
 
I like the 15.2 chestnut, the first one.

The second chestnut looks like it couldn't be arsed to pick its legs up - not a nice habit and a bit too old to be schooled out of it.

Lovely confo shots of the third one, but not one ridden it seems, that alone would put me off.
 
I like the first and the last tbh. Although I would want to know exactly what he does when left on his own but it wouldnt put me off ringing. I have to say I am dubious about the middle one as there are a few horses for sale clearly from the same yard.

It could be my suspicious mind of course, but the wording of the ads is similar yet all names and some phone nos. are different. All say they are private sellers. It may be that three or four people from the same yard are all selling their horses of course!

I would go to see the first one first, then the last one.
 
I agree dozzie, i liked the first and last best too, but didn't even check the sellers details on the second! Why were you unsure of the Essex horse tasteofchaos?
 
I thought the Essex horse sounded ok! Genuine advert tbh. I would look at him but not sure how experienced you are schooling a horse. For me it wouldnt be an issue as I enjoy schooling. I would press them to find out how he behaves in the school though.

The last horse in your list has a problem being left alone and that would need exploring. It may be that he jumps out of his field but it may be that he just gets stressed in a stable which can sometimes be overcome by keeping a horse on a bigger yard or using stable mirrors. It wouldnt put me off ringing but I would ask about the problem as the seller thinks it is worth mentioning so wont be a simple problem. However they do seem to be a bit novicey by what they say in their ad IMO so it may actually not be a huge issue.

It would seem that both come with their problems but the ads look genuine. Unlike the middle one

I am keen on the first one, as i don't mind shooling and bringing on, it's just problems that i would find difficult to deal with. As you say, if it is just a problem being stabled, then nothing major, but if otherwise, this will put me off, aswell as having no ridden pics as Kitsune said.
 
I wouldn't discount a horse just from its ad, I would atleast contact the seller and ask some questions first. Some of the best, most appealing ads that you go an view the horse from will actually be advertising a terrible horse that doesn't fit your needs. Where as some of the naf, undetailed ads will actually be hiding a really good horse. So yes be critical of the ads and don't waste your timimg going to see something you have no interest in but before you purchase a horse you need to see a few anyway so why discount them just from an ad.
